30 years in the making
From humble beginnings in 1996 with 17 members located mainly in the Taranaki, the NZREOR has become a national organisation with over 700 members. Thirty years ago, what was just a bunch of guys out for a ride, has evolved into organised riding groups all over New Zealand.
Each year the membership gathers in a location somewhere in NZ for a national rally to celebrate all that the register represents.
What started as a small group of friends has become a well-structured, nationwide organisation that allows the NZREOR to look forward to another 30 years of camaraderie, great rides and shared enthusiasm for Royal Enfields.
The administration
The NZREOR is administered by a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary and a Committee elected by the membership. They communicate regularly with the membership through the Area Representatives and foster initiatives for the strengthening and growth of the Register.
The Area Representatives in the regions around New Zealand communicate with our members and organise monthly rides which give our members opportunities to connect.
